A Bit About Me
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Frankie developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship and the built environment. Influenced by his grandfather, a skilled stonemason, and the rich architectural heritage of Boston, he pursued his passion academically at Miami University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture in 2013.
Frankie’s career reflects a comprehensive understanding of design, construction, and project leadership. Early on, he broadened his hands-on experience working with Habitat for Humanity in Colorado, serving as a Crew Leader and collaborating directly in the construction process. This formative experience strengthened his understanding of building systems, site coordination, and the practical realities of construction—insight that continues to inform his design approach today.
Upon returning to Boston, Frankie refined his craft within several respected architecture firms, contributing to projects across residential and commercial sectors. His work spanned all phases of design—from conceptual development and client presentations to construction documentation and consultant coordination—laying a strong foundation in both creative vision and technical execution.
Relocating to Santa Barbara in 2015, Frankie expanded his professional scope by earning his real estate license and advising clients on acquisition, renovation, and property development. This dual perspective—architect and real estate professional—allowed him to guide projects holistically, aligning design intent with investment strategy and construction feasibility. During this time, he continued to collaborate with local architects on freelance commissions before formally stepping into a Project Manager role, overseeing budgets, schedules, interdisciplinary teams, and on-site execution.
Paolino Design Collective represents the culmination of more than a decade of experience as a designer, project manager, and builder. Frankie brings a detail-oriented design sensibility, practical construction knowledge, and strategic leadership to every project. His work is grounded in thoughtful problem-solving, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering spaces that are both functional and enduring.
Now based in Providence, Rhode Island, Frankie continues to draw inspiration from New England’s architectural character while renovating his own 120-year-old home—an ongoing reflection of his belief that great design lives in the details and stands the test of time.
